All KFM Local 228 members in good standing, members of their households, and their students are eligible to apply
Applicants may be of any age or grade level

Award(s)
Local 228 anticipates multiple awards ranging from $250 to $1,000, totaling approximately $2,500-5,000 each year. An individual may receive a Local 228 Martin scholarship only once.
Review Process
Applications to be reviewed by an ad hoc committee of Local 228 members, appointed by Executive Board. Family members of applicants and teachers of applicants are not eligible to serve on this committee. An individual may receive a Local 228 Martin scholarship only once.
Award criteria to include completeness of application submissions, strength of recommendations, previous accomplishments, evidence of likely success.
