“With a length of about 10 kilometers and an estimated walking time of five hours, Section 3 begins from Xiaoyoukeng, reaches the highest peaks of Taipei, then dips down to Fengguikou (風櫃口), east of Yangmingshan.”

Return to: 👉 MRT Shilin Station (R16).
We will take taxis from Shilin Station to the start. It will be about NT$450 per taxi which can be shared between the passengers.
We finish at Xiaoyoukeng and take buses towards Shilin MRT.
For this hike, there is a well-made path and it is suitable even if the weather is damp. If there is the chance of light rain, it will go ahead. If there will be heavy rain, it will cancelled before 7pm the day before.

Notes:
★ We will meet at 8:00am and wait for people who have registered for at least 10 minutes.
★ The hike is long so be prepared mentally and physically!
★ The whole hike will be end before 2 pm roughly, and we can eat together afterwards in the Shilin/Jiantan area.
★ If you are interested in this hiking event, please submit RSVP as early as possible.
★Bring enough food and water for a five-hour hike. You can buy food and water at 7-Eleven at Shilin Station MRT.
★ If you can't join us from the start, please contact someone on the hike who can help you catch up.
★ The exact details of the hike may change according to the weather, ability of the group and unpredictable circumstances - please be patient!
★ It will be necessary to bring sun protection and 2 litres of water etc.
★ Although the organiser coordinates the meetup, it is your responsibility to look after your own health and safety. Be sure to familiarise yourself with the arrangements and the route so that you can be totally self-sufficient on the walk.
This is a community event and there is no charge.
We will do this hike in the opposite direction from the conventional - we will take taxis from Shilin Station to Fenguikou and end at Xiaoyoukeng Visitors’ Centre.
