How Students Can Take CLEP Exams for Free

Students can take many CLEP exams at no cost through the voucher program offered by Modern States.

 Modern States provides free, self-paced online courses aligned to specific CLEP exams, and when a student completes the required coursework, they can earn a voucher that covers the CLEP exam fee. As part of our Gen Ed Acceleration program, we guide students in using the Modern States pathway effectively, help them stay on track, and integrate their materials into a structured learning plan. While vouchers are issued directly by Modern States, we support families in navigating and maximizing this opportunity so students can earn college credit efficiently and affordably.
