This Privacy Policy explains how TypeBlade Studios ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Keyboard Warrior mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
The App collects and processes the following categories of data:
a) Data You Provide
- Profile name — a display name you choose when creating a profile. Stored locally on your device.
- Game progress — scores, levels, upgrades, coins and gems earned. Stored locally on your device.
b) Data Collected Automatically
- Advertising identifiers (AdMob) — Google AdMob collects your device advertising ID, IP address, and app usage data to serve and measure advertisements. This applies to all users who have not purchased the Remove Ads option, and to all users who choose to watch rewarded ads in exchange for in-game bonuses such as extra lives or doubled coins.
- Purchase data (Google Play Billing) — when you make an in-app purchase, Google Play processes your payment and shares purchase confirmation with us (item purchased, timestamp). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Analytics data (Firebase) — we use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as session length, features used, and crash reports. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Device information — device type, operating system version, and language settings, collected by AdMob and Firebase to serve appropriate content.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the App and its features
- To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob (free users)
- To process and verify in-app purchases via Google Play Billing
- To analyse app performance and fix bugs via Firebase Analytics
- To fulfil your in-app purchases and unlock purchased content
- To process refund requests and adjust in-game entitlements accordingly
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services. Each service operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:
- Google AdMob — serves advertisements and may collect advertising identifiers and usage data. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

- Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting. Privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Future versions of the App may include optional social login. When implemented, additional data may be collected in accordance with those providers' privacy policies. This policy will be updated accordingly.
4. In-App Purchases and Refunds
All in-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. The following policies apply:
- Consumable items (coins, boost passes) — these are credited to your account immediately upon purchase confirmation. As these items are consumed during gameplay, they are generally non-refundable once used.
- Non-consumable items (Remove Ads, keyboard skins) — these unlock permanent features. If a purchase is refunded by Google Play, access to the relevant feature will be revoked automatically within the App.
- Refund requests — Google Play allows refund requests within 48 hours of purchase via their self-service process. After 48 hours, refunds are at Google's discretion. TypeBlade Studios does not process refunds directly; all refund requests must be submitted through Google Play.
- Revocation of entitlements — if Google Play approves a refund, the App will automatically detect this and remove any in-game content associated with the refunded purchase. Coin balances may be adjusted and previously unlocked content may be re-locked. This is required to maintain fairness for all players.
- Purchase restoration — if you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore your non-consumable purchases (Remove Ads, skins) free of charge using the Restore Purchases option in the App's Settings screen.

5. Data Sharing
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- With Google — AdMob, Play Billing and Firebase receive data as described above.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of TypeBlade Studios or its users.
We do not share your data with any other third parties.
6. Data Retention
Game progress and profile data is stored locally on your device for as long as the App is installed. Deleting the App removes this data. Advertising and analytics data is retained by Google in accordance with their data retention policies.
7. GDPR and UK GDPR — Rights of EU and UK Users
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the following rights under GDPR / UK GDPR:
- Right of access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data.
- Right to object — object to processing of your data for advertising purposes.
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent for personalised advertising at any time via your device settings.
You may control personalised advertising via your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads) or by purchasing the Remove Ads option to disable advertising entirely.

8. Children's Privacy
The App is rated Everyone (E) and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). The App does not require account creation and does not collect contact details or location data. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
9. Your Advertising Choices
You can control advertising data in the following ways:
- Reset or opt out of personalised ads via your Android device settings: Settings > Google > Ads
- Remove all ads permanently via the Remove Ads in-app purchase
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or stored by third-party services such as Google AdMob.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. Changes will be indicated by an updated Effective Date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
