About KeyBee
KeyBee is a lightweight macOS application that provides real-time BPM (tempo) and key detection for any audio playing on your Mac. The results are displayed directly in the menu bar, making it easy for DJs, music producers, and content creators to quickly evaluate and organize their music.

Q1. What does KeyBee do?
KeyBee analyzes the music playing on your Mac and shows the BPM (tempo) and key in real time, directly in the menu bar.
Q2. Does KeyBee require an internet connection?
No. All analysis is performed locally on your Mac. No data is sent to any external servers.
Q3. The BPM or key values change slightly. Is that normal?
Yes. Short or noisy audio may cause fluctuations. For best results, use steady passages of music.
Q4. Does KeyBee save my audio?
No. KeyBee does not record or save any audio. The analysis results exist only temporarily in your device’s memory.
