We have some exciting food access updates for the upcoming season at the Keweenaw Market Association.
Both the Wednesday Chassell Market and Saturday Hancock Market will now be able to accept:
Food as Medicine (fresh produce) coupons
UPCAP Fresh Food Access coupons (eligible for meat, eggs, fish, dairy, honey, maple syrup, and wild rice)
Additional program updates:
Double Up Food Bucks will be added next year.
SNAP/EBT is something we are actively working on and hope to have running soon.
