There has always been a question of whether Aram was born on January 31, 1907 or February 1, 1907. He was born in an Armenian monastery in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Aram, age 18, boarded the S.S. Braga at Aleandria, Egypt with his brother Satrak Avedis Kevorkian age 25. Both were listed as farmers and their destination was their brother Missak at his address 217 Putnam Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. They had never been to the US before and were listed as healthy, dark complected with dark hair and dark eyes. Satrak was 5'9", Avedis 5'7". Nearest relative in country from which they came was D. Soultanian, living in a hotel in Cyprus.

The S.S. Braga of the Fabre Line was built by Russell & Co, Port Glasgow in 1907 as the S.S. Laura for Unione Austriaca of Trieste. She was Launched on February 15th, 1907 and on May 11th, 1906 sailed her maiden voyage from Trieste to Patras and New York. On May 8th, 1914, she started her last voyage between Trieste, Palermo, Algiers and New York and then made a subsequent voyage to South America. From 1914 to 1917 she was sheltered at Bahia, Brazil. On July 2nd, 1917 she was seized by the Brazilian authorities and renamed S.S. Europa and was operated by Lloyd Nacional. In December 1919, she was handed to France as war reparations, sold to the Fabre Line of Marseilles and renamed S.S. Braga. She sailed on her first voyage under the name Braga from Marseilles to Naples, Palermo and New York on December 10th, 1920. On the 16th of September 1926, she commenced her last New York to Mediterranean passage. November 16th, 1926, she wrecked on land in Aspra Island, Greece.

Aram, age 19, first petitioned the court to become a naturalized citizen on April 23, 1926 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. His occupation was a machinist. His signature appears on the bottom of the form.
Aram, age 22 was erroneously listed as "Adam" in the 1930 census, living in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan with his brother Missak.
Aram and Eppie were married in New Britain, Connecticut on March 25, 1940.

Signature appears on bottom of first page of form. Eppie's sister, Eranoohy and Aram's sister-in-law Haiganoush were witnesses for Aram and signed page 2 of the form.
On November 30, 1943, Connecticut issued a Federal Nationalization Certificate for Aram. His signature appears on the bottom.

Aram lived in Connecticut until his death on May 22, 1980. He was buried May 25, 1980 in Fairview Cemetery in New Britain.
