About Kevin Wilker

Dedicated sports enthusiast pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a minor in Marketing at Baldwin Wallace University. Experienced in creating engaging sports content through photography and videography. Proven track record of delivering high-quality work for collegiate and high school teams, including Baldwin Wallace University, St. Edward HS, and Release Baseball. I have been trusted by BW Athletics to do projects for the University. Along with using my photography and videography to promote BW Athletics, I have also used my Graphic design skills to help better showcase some of the player achievements.  Seeking freelance opportunities to further develop my skills and contribute to the sports industry. 

Following graduation, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to a professional sports organization, such as the NBA, NFL, or MLB. My experiences at Baldwin Wallace University, including working for MBB, WBB, BW Baseball, and Athletics have prepared me to excel in a demanding role. My passion for photography and videography, combined with my strong work ethic and attention to detail, will enable me to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the success of the organization.

Skills

• Photography and Videography: Capturing compelling visual content to tell stories that promote events and games to be posted on socials.

• Social Media Management: Creating and executing effective social media campaigns to engage audiences. Posting graphics, photos, and videos to show off the team and encourage fan engagement. 

• Graphic Design: Designing eye-catching graphics and promotional materials for social media. These include Gameday, Half/Final, Stats, Awards, etc.. 

Experience

I have had the privilege of working with various sports teams, gaining valuable experience in:

• Team Travel: Accompanying teams to major events, including the NCAA Tournament, World Series, and conference championships. I have traveled to destinations such as New York, Maine, Chicago, Iowa, Kentucky, and Indiana. I have also traveled to Ireland (Dublin, Belfast, and Portstewarrt) to document a unique trip our Men's and Women's Basketball teams got to take over the summer of 2024. 

• Content Creation: Producing high-quality photos and videos to document team activities, player highlights, and game-day moments.
