I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Notre Dame. I am an Environmental Consultant/Engineer with over 7-year experience in water/wastewater treatment, water quality, air pollution control, soil remediation, nanotechnology, microbiology, bioinformatics, environment, health and safety (OHSAS 18001), and environmental management (ISO 14001). My current research involves the development of methodologies to exclude free nucleic acids from environmental metagenomes.
