I am a Spanish-Ecuadorian economist. I currently work as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Mons in Belgium and a short-term consultant at the World Bank for the African Region. I hold a joint PhD in economics and management from the Free University of Brussels (ULB) and the University of Mons, complemented by a Master in economic analysis and European policy from the Solvay Brussels School.

My research focuses on education and labour market issues. I have participated in federal and inter-university projects to improve the integration of immigrants and their children in Belgium. Moreover, I was a teaching assistant in labour economics, statistics and microeconomics at the ULB between 2020 and 2024

In parallel with my main activities, I am also an econometrics tutor who has helped hundreds of students from universities worldwide with their econometrics courses and theses, as well as consultants from international institutions with the empirical strategy of their projects.
