I am a Spanish-Ecuadorian economist born in the middle of the world (Ecuador). I hold a joint PhD in economics and management from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the Université de Mons (graduated in November 2023), complemented by a Master's degree in economic analysis and European policy (graduated in October 2019). 

As a PhD researcher, I work at the National Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.-FNRS) in Brussels, Belgium. My research primarily focuses on labour economics, education economics and social issues (inequality and poverty). I have participated in federal and inter-university projects to improve the integration of immigrants and their children in Belgium.

For the last 3 years, I have been a teaching assistant and substitute lecturer in labour economics at the ULB. Finally, as an econometrics tutor (freelancer), I have helped hundreds of students from universities worldwide with their econometrics courses and the empirical strategy of their master's theses.
