Biomechanics

Biomechanics is a field of study that applies engineering principles to living systems. In other words, biomechanists study the forces and effects of forces on a living being as it interacts with its environment. My particular research interests are in exploring the mechanical strategies underlying human locomotion and their metabolic consequences during human locomotion.
