Kevin Nakolan is a Ph.D Candidate at the University of California, Davis in the department of Agriculture and Resource Economics and is a member of the Davis Energy Economics Program (DEEP). His research focuses on energy economics, environmental economics, and industrial organization. His current projects focus on the role of rate regulation in influencing a firm's compliance decisions, as well as distributional impacts of local pollutants created by the California solar mandate.
He received his B.Sc. from Arizona State University in 2013, and is expected to complete his PhD from UC Davis in Agriculture and Resource Economics by Spring 2020.
