My research interests broadly lie in the mathematics of data science and statistical learning theory; in particular, active learning, subset selection problems, and graph-based methods.
Previously, I was a Peter J. O'Donnell Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oden Institute at the University of Texas, Austin working with Dr. Rachel Ward.I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from UCLA studying active learning and uncertainty in graph-based learning under the direction of Dr. Andrea Bertozzi. I was supported by the DOD's NDSEG Research Fellowship and an NSF NRT Fellowship. I completed my undergraduate degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics at BYU in Provo, Utah.
Please see my CV.
