Hello, my name is Kevaughn Taylor. I am currently attending NESC Technical Institute, where I am studying electrical engineering.
Originally, I wanted to pursue mechanical engineering, but due to financial constraints I chose electrical instead. Over time, I discovered that I truly enjoy it. My family often asks me questions about electrical issues, and I help them fix errors or solve problems.
This experience has shown me that electrical engineering is more than just a course — it’s a skill that allows me to support others and build a future career. On this site, I’ll be sharing my journey, projects, and experiences as I continue learning and growing in the field.
I want to further my career by working with the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC), gaining hands-on experience and applying the skills I’ve learned in electrical engineering. In addition, I have a strong interest in joining the army, where I hope to contribute my electrical knowledge to support operations and develop new skills in a disciplined environment.
To achieve my career goals, I plan to:
Advance my studies in electrical engineering.
Gain practical experience at T&TEC and through internships.
Apply my electrical skills in the army to broaden my experience.
Stay updated with industry standards and certifications.
