Kettlehawk are a four piece ceilidh band.
Matt Keegan-Phipps: recorder, and soprano and tenor saxophones
Josh Smallbone: 8 string electric guitar with a range of effects. Josh swaps between playing bass lines, chords, and lead guitar without changing instruments. He also uses effects such as overdrive.
Ray Langton: melodeons - grey instrument pitched in C/F has fairly strong tremolo and produces a range of clicking and clacking sounds - these are part of the music! Black instrument pitched in A/D/G is softer in tone and produces less clicking noises. Also at times plays electric guitar
Adam Courthold: acoustic drum kit

Tenor Sax: own clip on mic; receiver will need to plug into desk. 13 Amp power supply needed for transmitter
Recorder: mic needed. This needs reverb added at desk

8 string guitar. 2 x 13 Amp supply needed for back line amp and effects pedal. Line out from own backline amp plugged directly to desk
Ray Langton
Melodeons: 2 inputs needed for melodeons (treble end only mic'd) - melodeon pick ups do not need phantom power.
Electric Guitar played through Marshall backline amp with line out to desk. Marshall amp is noisy and may need noise gate 2x 13 Amp supply needed
