The AGM is when the Society members meet to elect our committee, officers (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer), receive the audited accounts and discuss Society business.
The 106th Annual General Meeting
of Kettering Allotments Society
to be held at
Athletic Club, Rockingham Rd

Tuesday 18th March 2025
at 7:45pm
To receive the committee report for the year ended 31st December 2024 and the audited accounts as of that date, to elect officers and to transact the general business of the association.
The following members are standing for election to the committee:
George White, Chris Hulston, Pat Mullins, Sarah Dexter, John Roberts, Peter New, Robert McIntyre, Laurence Watters, Adrian Bew, Mike Thurland, Russell Attwood, Rebecca Profit
in addition the following members have been nominated to be elected to the committee:
Proposed Chair: Peter New
Proposed Treasurer: Michael Thurland
Proposed Secretary: Russell Attwood
The following proposals has been received by the committee:
To authorise the committee to increase subscriptions for 2026 if it is deemed necessary by the treasurer up to a maximum of £4 per member.
To prohibit honey bee beehives and beekeeping on our sites from 2026
To amend the Tenancy Agreement (rules) adding the following to Rule 30: "the 3rd and 4th rides on Margaret Road shall be closed to all vehicles from 1st November to 1st March and only reopened after this date if the ground conditions are suitable as decided by the field stewards" Proposed by Dai Johnson, seconded by Pat Draper
