Submission

Prospective authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers within the defined scope of the workshop. Submitted papers will be evaluated on the basis of significance, originality and technical quality. Papers should clearly establish the research contribution and the relation to previous research. The submission should clearly emphasize the aspects relevant to the workshop.

Two types of submissions are accepted:

  • Full research papers and experience papers with a maximum length of 12 pages, including all text, figures, references and appendices.

  • Short papers and position papers with a maximum length of 6 pages, including references and appendices.

Authors are requested to prepare submissions according to the LNBIP format specified by Springer. Authors should consult Springer’s authors' guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for Latex or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers.

In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.

Manuscripts should be submitted to the workshop in PDF format via the EasyChair system:

Please select the Track “2nd International Workshop on Key Enabling Technologies for Digital Factories“.

Submissions not conforming to the LNBIP format, exceeding page limit, or being out of the scope of the workshop, will be rejected without review.

At least one author of each accepted paper must register and participate in the workshop. Registration is subject to the terms, conditions and procedures of the main CAiSE 2020 conference to be found at its website: http://caise20.imag.fr/index.html
