I am Keshob Sharma. I am an economist and I work at Employee Benefit Research Institute as a research associate.
Previously, I worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Prevention Effectiveness Fellow (Economist). I received my Ph.D. in Economics and M.S. in Statistics from the University of Georgia in 2022.
My research interests are in health economics, education economics, health policy, and applied microeconomics. Currently, my work focuses on investigating the effects of mental health insurance expansions on criminality. Additionally, I examine the influence of mental health parity laws on adult and youth mental health outcomes. Please reach out to me if you have questions about my work.
