I am Keshav, a Research Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Kanpur, working under the supervision of Dr. Santanu De. I am a Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF, Cycle 10) since January 2023. My research focuses on combustion science, with particular interest in understanding the behavior of turbulent flames under challenging operating conditions. I employ advanced laser-based optical diagnostic techniques to investigate flame stabilization, combustion dynamics, and flame extinction phenomena. These studies contribute to the development of cleaner, safer, and more efficient energy and propulsion systems, including applications in aerospace gas turbines and jet-engine afterburners.
