Dr. Kerstin Grosch

Since January 2022, I have dedicated three years to academic research through the Hertha-Firnberg-Program, based at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and affiliated with the Institute of Markets and Strategy. Previously, I served as the  interim acting head of the research group "Behavioral Economics (Insight Austria)" and continue my association as an IHS Research Fellow. Additionally, I teach behavioral economics at the Vienna School of International Studies (Diplomatische Akademie Wien).

My research as a behavioral economist spans multiple countries, investigating gender dynamics, individual preferences, and their impact on behavior in educational, organizational, and labor-market settings. Proficient in experimental methods, including randomized controlled trials and lab-in-the-field experiments, my goal is to contribute to equal opportunities and the development of effective institutions and fair policies that eliminate discrimination. Currently, I am excited about studies focusing on enhancing youth money management skills and examining organizational bullying behavior with a gender perspective.
