I am an assistant professor in behavioral economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in the Institute of Markets and Strategy. I am currently a research fellow funded by the FWF Hertha Firnberg Program. My research spans labor-market, financial, and educational contexts, where I conduct experiments with individuals from backgrounds underrepresented in existing studies. A central motivation of my applied work is to improve institutional design for more equitable outcomes. Proficient in experimental methods—including randomized controlled trials and lab-in-the-field experiments—I aim to advance equal opportunities by generating empirically and theoretically grounded evidence to inform the development of effective institutions and fair policies. In addition, my research profile includes the development and extension of economic theory that contribute to foundational insights in the field. I am a Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna (IHS). My doctoral thesis laid the foundation for my future research and is available here.
