Kerry began line dancing at the age of 13 in a small town in Iowa, and was immediately hooked! She traveled all over the Midwest with her family to follow her passion, and even traveled to Nashville and Knoxville Tennessee to be on the popular 1996 Television shows “Wildhorse Saloon” and “Club Dance.” She co-choreographed her first line dance at the age of 15, and has since continued to choreograph many award winning dances. Some of her most notable awards include winning the Windy City Line Dance Mania Amateur Choreography Competition in 2017, with “All Katchi, All Night Long.” As well as a UCWDC World Championship Choreography ABC title in 2018, for BOTH first and second place, with “Happy Dance” and “All Katchi, All Night Long.” Kerry began instructing classes regularly in 2014, and loves teaching her weekly senior, beginner and intermediate/advanced line dance classes around Minnesota. She has also taught line dancing around the US, in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New York and Ohio.Kerry’s other passion is Graphic Design. She graduated from Iowa State University with her BFA in Graphic Design, and has over 23 years of experience in her field. She has designed many logos and T-Shirt designs for dancers, choreographers, and line dance events.
I love all styles of dance and also have experience in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country & Nightclub two-step.
