The 4th Korean Emotion Recognition

Data and Baseline



We provide a text-based conversation dataset for emotion recognition and the Baseline code developed by a research group at Chonnam National University.

Detailed information will be provided through e-mail to participants according to the important dates.

All participants can refer to the Baseline Model, but participants should develop their Korean emotion recognition prediction model using deep learning and machine learning.

The signed work between the 'Artificial Intelligence Convergence Research Institute, Chonnam National University' and participants, the security compliance statement will be the same after the end of the challenge. Please hope you'll participate in the challenge knowing that If you violate this clause, you will be severely punished according to the relevant laws called 정보통신망이용촉진 관련법령 in Korean.


(1) I use data and related data provided by the Institute only for participation in the challenge and will not use it personally afterwards (ex. paper, other competitions, etc.)

(2) I do not use for commercial purposes all challenge-related data received from the Institute.

(3) I will not divulge the security information to anyone who is not involved in the challenge.

Submit the code for reviewing



At the end of this challenge (October 23, 2022), participants must submit their model code by email (kerc2021.kr@gmail.com).

After reviewing the submitted model, the final ranking will be announced on November 1, 2022.

Please note that the model is used only for reviewing results, and the ownership remains with the author.
