The Korean Economic Association (KEA) is pleased to announce the 2026 Korean Economic Review (KER) International Conference, which will be held in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, South Korea, on June 22–23, 2026. The conference is co-hosted by the Korean Economic Association, the Korea Development Institute, and the Bank of Korea.
We invite economists interested in presenting their work to submit their full papers or extended abstracts through the following link by April 5, 2026. Extended abstracts must clearly describe the research question, methodology, expected results, and significance, and should be detailed enough to allow the program committee to assess the contribution of the work. Institutions interested in organizing a session should contact the KEA office at kea1952@kea.ne.kr.
All papers must be written and presented in English. They will be showcased in Contributed Sessions. Notification of acceptance and the conference program will be announced on April 29, 2026. KEA members presenting in Contributed Sessions will receive one night (double occupancy) of hotel accommodation (single occupancy is available at an additional cost) and a modest travel stipend.
Presenters must either be KEA lifetime members or annual members for the year 2026, or pay a registration fee of USD 200 (for non-members, including international participants). Eligibility will be verified prior to final participation. For membership information, please visit the KEA website.
