Every piece begins with the careful search for vintage quilts whose stories deserve to continue. I look for quilts that reflect exceptional craftsmanship, beautiful fabrics, and signs of a life well lived. While some quilts are preserved in their original form, others are thoughtfully chosen because they can be transformed into something new without losing the beauty of what came before. Each quilt is selected with the belief that faithful stewardship begins long before the first stitch is sewn.

Every quilt is gently inspected, cleaned, and prepared using methods that respect its age, construction, and condition. Rather than hiding signs of time, I embrace the softened fabrics, hand stitching, and subtle imperfections that make each quilt unique. These details are not flaws—they are part of the story that deserves to be carried forward.

No two quilts are alike, so no two KEPT pieces are designed the same way. Instead of forcing a pattern onto the fabric, each design is guided by the quilt itself.
