Kepler Tag Finder (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use the Kepler Tag Finder mobile application (the “App”).

When using the App, we may collect:

- Email address
- Phone number
B. Device and app identifiers
We generate and store an installation identifier to support app functionality and service status checks.
C. Location data
The App requests your location only to:
- Show your current location on the map, and
- Help you trace a route from your location to a selected tag.
We do not use your location for advertising profiling.
D. Photos and camera access
If you choose to add or edit pet photos, the App may request:
- Camera access (to take a photo)
- Photo library/media access (to select a photo)
This access is only used for the features you choose to use.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide core app features (map, tag tracking, history, directions)
- Store and display pet profile details/photos
- Operate onboarding and app setup flows
- Send and track marketing-consent related records
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve app reliability and security
3. Legal Basis / Consent
Where required by applicable law, we process personal information based on:
- Your consent (for example, marketing consent and permission-based features),
- Performance of services requested by you,
- Legitimate interests in app security, maintenance, and operation.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the App (for example, backend/API infrastructure), only as needed to provide app functionality.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Some data may remain on your device (for example, locally cached app data) until you clear app data or uninstall the App.
