I am interested in psychology and emotion, so my body of work aims to bridge the gap between my intangible experiences and a physical, visual reality. I approach the prepared surface like a problem to be solved, and in painting it, I find myself addressing internal problems simultaneously. Every color, shape, line, and pattern coincide with a thought or emotion I had at the time of placement. Thus, the paintings serve as a record of my inner world, translating my internal experiences into a visual language.
