This app uses Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) numerical weather prediction (NWP) models for global forecasting.
Currently we provide hourly rainfall weather prediction for 7 days, updated after every 6 hours @ 03 and 15 hrs EAT and for 5 days, updated after every 6 hours @ 09 and 21 hrs EAT
The weather data is provided at a spatial resolution of 13 km.
Hourly Weather data to be provided in the near future Temperature and Humidity at 2m above ground

The app currently supports two modes. Search Icon and Location Button

Click on the search icon on the map, highlighted with a red rectangle below
Type a search location
Select and map will zoom to location

The second alternative is to enable location and use the location icon at the right bottom of the map, highlighted with a yellow rectangle
After that, if a location can be determined the retrieval from remote server will commence
