You may know exactly what you want from Kenya.
Or you may simply know that you want to go, and have no idea where to begin.
Kenya Your Way helps you research, compare, decide, design and coordinate a Kenya trip around your time, interests, budget and travel style.
You don't have to fit your trip into a package.
And you don't have to figure everything out alone.
There are safari areas to consider. Different landscapes. Coast and inland. Wildlife, culture, food, nature and adventure. Different ways of moving around. Different accommodation styles. Different ways to spend your time and money.
The difficult part isn't finding things to do.
It's understanding which things actually make sense together for you.
That's where good travel advice matters.
RESEARCH. COMPARE. ADVISE. DESIGN. COORDINATE.
We look at the possibilities that could fit the kind of Kenya experience you're looking for.
We help you understand the differences between options, not simply give you a long list to choose from.
We give you an honest view of what makes sense for your trip, including when we think something may not be worth adding.
We shape the journey around your time, budget, interests, pace and travel style.
You may simply want the research and recommendations, then make the bookings yourself.
Or you may want help bringing the selected parts of your trip together.
Where coordination is needed, we work with appropriate travel partners to help arrange the selected services.
Either way, the planning starts with what makes sense for you, not with what someone else wants to sell you.
The goal isn't to sell you the most things.
It's to help you make good decisions about your trip.
Kenya can be wildlife. It can be the coast. It can be food, culture, nature, adventure, cities, quiet places, the lake , Island— or a combination that simply makes sense for you.
Start with Kenya's wildlife, then slow down by the Indian Ocean.
Combine Kenya's natural landscapes with meaningful cultural experiences.
More freedom, more involvement, and a journey shaped around you.
Explore Kenya on foot and experience landscapes beyond the traditional safari route.
Fewer places. More time. Space to actually enjoy where you are.
Wildlife, coast, culture, food, nature and whatever else makes sense for you.
For some travellers, experiencing Kenya also means looking beyond organised attractions: trying local food, visiting everyday places, observing how people live, learning the small customs and details, and leaving room for natural conversations along the way.
Where this fits the trip, we look for experiences that feel relevant to the traveller rather than simply adding a "cultural activity" for the sake of it.
These aren't fixed packages.
They're starting points.
Because sometimes you arrive knowing exactly what you want.
And sometimes you just know:
“I want to go to Kenya.”
That's enough to start.
You can have the freedom to choose where you go, how long you stay, what you do and where you spend your money, without having to research and coordinate every detail yourself.
Maybe you already know the places you want to visit.
Maybe you have a rough idea but don't know how to connect everything.
Or maybe you simply want to experience Kenya your own way and need someone who understands the country to help you work out what makes sense.
That's where Kenya Your Way comes in.
We help you make the decisions.
You remain in control of your trip.
Not sure which parts of Kenya fit the experience you have in mind?
We help you understand the differences between destinations and work out what is worth including.
From safari camps and lodges to hotels, guesthouses and independent stays, we help you compare options based on what actually matters to you.
Driving, domestic flights, transfers or a combination we help you think through the practicalities of moving around Kenya.
Wildlife, nature, food, culture, beaches, walking, adventure or simply having time to slow down.
We help you decide what belongs in your trip and what doesn't.
Have limited time or a particular budget?
We help you balance destinations, accommodation, experiences and travel time so the itinerary works as a whole.
There are always smaller decisions before travelling , practical information, preparation, local context and the things you may not think to ask about.
We help you feel prepared before you leave.
Sometimes you already know how you want to travel and simply need someone to do the research properly.
We can research destinations, accommodation, wildlife, activities, transport, local experiences and practical details, compare the relevant options and give you the information you need to make your own decisions and bookings.
You stay in control. We do the time-consuming research.
You don't need to have everything figured out before you come to us.
We start with what you know, then work from there.
Tell us where you are in your planning, even if all you know is that you want to visit Kenya.
You don't need to have the destinations, hotels or itinerary figured out.
We get to understand what matters to you, including your travel dates, priorities, budget, travel style and what you want the experience to feel like.
We clarify what needs to be researched and what you'll receive before the research begins.
Once the scope is agreed, the research fee is confirmed and the first 50% payment is made, we begin.
We research and compare the relevant options, then use what we've found to shape a proposed itinerary around your trip.
You review it and tell us what feels right and what needs changing.
Tell us where you are in your planning, even if all you know is that you want to visit Kenya.
You don't need to have the destinations, hotels or itinerary figured out.
Our role is to make the decisions easier not to make them for you.
You know what you're choosing, why it fits your trip, and what happens next.
I'm Stecy, the person behind Kenya Your Way.
My relationship with Kenya didn't begin with tourism.
It began through work, travelling to places across the country that most visitors would never see.
I've worked with organisations, including NGOs, on field research, travelling through communities, rural areas and some of Kenya's more remote landscapes.
I've travelled across Lake Victoria by boat, including journeys to and from islands, and spent time along the lakeshore. I've been to places such as the Coast, Malaba and Kakamega Forest and travelled through many parts of Western Kenya and Nyanza.
I've seen Kenya from the Air, from the road, from the water and through communities, often far beyond the usual tourist routes.
And those experiences changed the way I see my own country.
I began to realise that Kenya is so much bigger than the places people usually hear about.
Yes, there is incredible wildlife.
But there are also lakes, forests, islands, coastlines, food, culture, communities, unexpected landscapes and quieter places that can become just as meaningful when you know how to find them.
That's part of what led me to create Kenya Your Way.
I don't want to simply tell people where to go.
I want to help them understand their options, make sensible choices and experience Kenya in a way that actually fits them.
Sometimes that means discovering somewhere they hadn't considered.
Sometimes it means simplifying the plan.
And sometimes, the best advice I can give is:
“I don't think you need that.”
Because good travel advice isn't about adding as much as possible to a trip.
It's about making the right choices.
You bring the idea.
I bring the research, perspective and knowledge of Kenya.
Together, we work out what makes sense.

You don't need to speak Kiswahili to enjoy Kenya.
But knowing a few words can change the way you experience the country.
A simple jambo, asante, tafadhali or karibu can make everyday interactions feel a little more natural and help you feel more connected to the people and places around you.
As part of our travel advice, we share practical Kiswahili phrases, pronunciation, useful travel vocabulary and cultural context to help you feel more comfortable as you travel.
Because good travel isn't only about knowing where to go.
It's also about understanding something of the place you're visiting.
Arrive curious. Travel confidently. Connect with Kenya.
JAMBO - Hello
