Burt Boyer Mini-Grant: Burt Boyer Mini-Grant

This mini-grant is named in honor of Charles “Burt” Boyer, a long time AER member, KAER member, KSB student and life-long teacher. Burt put his students and consumers first every day, no matter what the cost for the institution or from his own pocket. We are all better teachers and rehabilitation therapists due to the hard work of Burt Boyer and others like him in our field. 

STAER Award: STAER Award

The intent of this award is to recognize noteworthy individuals, companies, programs, etc., even for the "little things" that make a difference in the lives of individuals with visual impairments and other professionals in the field of vision. 

KAER Exceptional Service Award: Exceptional Service Award

Touching Lives Award: Touching Lives Award

        This award is for any individual, agency, or organization which has made a specific identifiable, noteworthy contribution in the field of vision. Nominees must be an active KAER member.
