We are excited to share details about what we believe will be an epic and unforgettable experience for our young men this summer. We are heading to Ouray, Colorado, fondly referred to as the "Switzerland of America", for a high adventure camp that will challenge the boys, strengthen their faith, and give them memories they will carry for the rest of their lives. We leave Tuesday, July 7 and return Saturday, July 11.
Please see the linked permission form and return it by Sunday April 26. This helps us confirm the final headcount and make sure we are ready for transportation, food, and activity planning.
The cost for each young man will be $200, and fees should be paid to the clerk by the end of April. We are very grateful for the service and support of the flag efforts, which make it possible to keep the cost at this amount and reduce the burden on families. This contribution covers 4 nights of lodging at the cabin, all group meals throughout the trip, transportation in vans from Mesa and back, and full participation in both the Via Ferrata and canyoneering activities.
Note: if there is any youth that wish to attend but the cost or timing of the cost is a concern, please reach out to Bishop. A way will be made for all young men who wish to attend.
For fathers who would also like to attend, you are welcome. There are two participation cost options for dads: $450 covers the full trip including the guided Via Ferrata and canyoneering activities, while $250 covers lodging, meals, and transportation for those who choose not to participate in those guided activities.
Thank you for your support and help as we prepare for this camp. We are looking forward to a great trip together.
