I downloaded today iobit driver booster, today to update my drivers. Since I've been using it on my old laptop. The problem that the touchpad doesn't work anymore after the update, I can't find a way to fix it, and I don't own a mouse which make even harder. I own a lenovo yoga s740 14. I got so many important on my laptop that I don't want to lose and from what I found re-installing windows won't help.
I tried but to revert but it didn't work as for rolling back the original, I couldn't use driver booster, I'm only using my keyboard. Do you mind telling me how to get the original one using driver booster?

I don't mind factory reset, but from what I've read on this forum and other ones. It seems that this doesn't solve the problem. I don't see why, if Iobit driver booster only updates drivers, it may install the wrong ones and delete the right ones, but it should be fixed by simply getting the old drivers when resetting

Just my two cents on updating a driver. Theoretically speaking, even if users update a driver manually, there will still be a chance that it could malfunction. I wouldn't put the blame in Driver Booster. It did its job too in rolling back.
We also got your email. After analysis of the informaion you sent, we had to say sorry. You used Driver Booster on 13th Nov to update RealtekBluetooth which might cause Bluetooth no working problem, and on 19th, you rolled it back to solve it.
I too have lost my Bluetooth radio(s) after using Driver Booster. After upgrading and purchasing ASC 8 I updated all the drivers DB2 suggested, it's never let me down before. Not on one, but TWO - Dell XPS 8500 machines. Because I use a Dell BT doggle for a keyboard and mouse on one machine and wired on the other, I did not realize the BT problem until a few weeks later when I put on my BT headphones and was unable to connect. I deleted my paired connection in an attempt to re-pair but my system never saw the headset again. Realizing the potential driver problem I did a system recovery as far back as I could go (which I believed was from before the DB2 driver updates). However, I am still unable to get my Bluetooth to work on both machines. I could really use some help on this one. As a side note: in BT settings, after "turning adapter off" and then back on again, I hear that "bomp-bomp" sound one gets when a USB devise gets plugged in but the system doesn't recognize it. Also, my Dell Wireless 1703 Bluetooth Properties says device is working properly. Please help me to recover.
I have the same problem. Bluetooth inoperative after Driver Booster update. However I the Rollback option is also inoperative (greyed out). I have dozens of Bluetooth Drivers listed and are all are not working.
Man this is 2023 and still the same problem with driver booster. I don't know what sin I did in the past to suffer form this stupid problem. I should NEVER have used this pathetic driver updater. I can't use my bluetooth now even after restoring my windows. Why does this junk software have to unplug my fine buetooth? Who gave it the permission? I gave it permission only to update not unplug my device. I can't use my speakers anymore. This is terrible. I'll never use this software again and ask anyone I meet never ever to rely on this idiotic piece of junk software.
Same here, Driver booster killed my Bluetooth drivers, and not even after 2 days of troubleshooting and an unnecessary Windows Update from 10 to 11 did the drivers work. How is it possible that software that is supposed to work and ease up your life just wasted 48 hours of our lives? That was the last time I installed any software of IOBIT, great for upselling only!
Also Mark Wilson's suggestion on how to repair it, would work if there was a Bluetooth device visible on my device manager. That was the first thing that came to my mind, but the driver booster managed to entirely delete Bluetooth from the face of my earth. None of the Windows troubleshooting steps helped either.

Recently Driver Booster updated drivers on my computer without asking me. And now my rear usb ports not recognizing my external hard drive. I`ve tried to roll back all drivers manually, but it did not work. Probably i`m noit able to find all the drivers that were updated. I have tried a system restore, but it fails. I also had an issue with the usb 3.0 port in the back of the PC house (not the front side). I cannot use there my external 320 GB hard drive, but other ports are working and can see it. I tried to re-install the original drivers from the Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 motherboard website, but it did not help. Tried to find other solutions, but I am out of ideas. After the last update of all drivers using Driver Booster 9, my Thinkpad USB Optical Mouse no longer works. The Error In Fix Device Error is "UNKNOWN - ThinkPad USB Optical Mount" Error Code 1. Error code 1 basically is invalid driver. I uninstalled the Drver from Device Manager --> Other Deivces (as its not recognized in Mice).
Yes, I know about the rollback function, my issue is I have no idea which driver to rollback. As I deleted the driver in Device Manger and when I reinstall the USB mouse it still does not work. So how can I tell which driver to rollback? or should I just rollback everything until it works?
All drivers are up to date. I deleted the "ThinkPad USB Optical Mouse" driver from the Device Manager and rescaned. (That is what I meant to say in my previous post, that I justed deleted the Device from Device Manager and hopped a rescan would work) But the same error happened again. (i.e. Error code 1).
From driver update history, Driver Booster 9 has updated 57 drivers, but none were the mouse drivers. I'm not sure which driver would interfere with this mouse. All my other mice still work, it's just this one that's not working.
After a reboot the mouse is working again. Now, something interesting happened, after the restore, I thought I would have to update all the drivers again, but all drivers are up to date. And on the Driver Restore page there are now 186 devices as opposed to 153 devices. So I'm confused, but its working so all it good.
Create a system Restore point at least once a week, as automatic restore points are notoriously known for not working. I use Iobit Advanced Systemcare to do this, and it has never failed to restore. Also, if you decide to do anything major such as restoring a lot of drivers, then create a restore point before hand.
