Our Back Story
Ken Peach (Boerne resident) pulled together the best musicians in the Boerne & North San Antonio areas to create a fun and unique band to the hill country. Our style of music specializes in music of Swing Legends, Crooners, Rhythm and Blues, Soul Music to Modern Big Band Arrangements of the day.
We started as a performance group in 2018 and performed under the name The Don't Quit Your Day Job Band. The name of our group was a tongue-in-cheek nod to the fact that the majority of our band members are music educators during the day and would gig (perform) at night. The band would (and still does) support our Boerne ISD and the Boerne Police Department for their annual Blue Santa Toy Drives / Cookies and Cocoa with free performance each December.
Once Mr. Peach retired in 2025, we shortened the name to The Don't Quit Band. BTW - we still use the majority of music teacher members in the band when they are not teaching music to their students. This is a fun band with great people. We hope to see you around town soon at one of our performances.

Prospective customers should know the following about our pricing policy: I work to find a fair price that works for both the customer and the band members. I always aim to find a cost that doesn't break the bank, but accurately reflects the services that we provide, as well as the talents of our musicians. Music can often be a factor that makes an event stellar and memorable, as opposed to mundane and commonplace. I frequently work with clients that have never hired live musicians before, but instantly become fans of live music after hearing one of my ensembles perform. That being said, if you want QUALITY live music, it does come at a certain price point.
