This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as this "Agreement") is entered into between Keno (hereinafter referred to as "we") and you (hereinafter referred to as "User") and governs your use of the Keno mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are 18 years of age or older; (b) you have the legal right to enter into this Agreement; and (c) you will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and this Agreement.
2. Description of Service
Keno provides a dating and social platform designed to facilitate romantic relationships through:
Baseline Matching: An algorithm-based system that matches users with people who share common core values and unquestionable priorities.
Story-Driven Interaction: Features that support engaging conversations, shared interests, and interactive prompts.
The closed-loop experience that guides users from initial matching to deepening relationships is detailed in the Keno app.
3. User Obligations
3.1 Registration and Account Security
To use certain features, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information to create a Keno account ("Account"). You agree to:
Keep your Account credentials (e.g., username, password) confidential.
Please immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your Account via our feedback email: feedbackkenoassist@outlook.com.
You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your Account.
3.2 Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Provide false or misleading information in your profile or interactions.
Harass, abuse, threaten, or defame other users.
Upload or share content that is illegal, obscene, infringing, or violates third-party rights.
Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or interfere with the functionality of the Service.
Use the Service for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. 4. Privacy and Data Use
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you consent to our data processing practices outlined in the Privacy Policy, which is in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and software) are owned by Keno or its licensors and protected by Hong Kong and international intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Service, but grant Keno a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for the purpose of providing the Service.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Keno does not guarantee:
The accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the Contests or User Materials;
The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Interactions with other users will be safe or meet your expectations.
You use the Service at your own risk, and Keno is not responsible for any damages arising from user interactions or reliance on the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keno will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including, but not limited to, damages resulting from lost connections, missed opportunities, or user misconduct. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim related to the Service will not exceed HK$100.
8. Termination
If you breach this Agreement or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the Keno community, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service without prior notice. Upon termination, you must cease using the Service.
9. Modifications to the Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Changes will be posted on the Service, and your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("Hong Kong"). Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall first be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
