Kenny Walden's Website

I'm a philosopher. I teach at Dartmouth. I work on ethics, but so broadly construed that the word is nearly meaningless. At the moment I am interested in approximately three things: (i) the creative elements of human agency and the normative principles they ground, (ii) whether moral philosophy can do justice to the peculiar form of value possessed by human beings, (iii) irresponsible ways of marrying Kant and Freud. I recently wrote a book arguing that genius is a practical ideal.

Here you can find such vital items as philosophy papers, the location of my office, and paintings I like.  The first of these is also available at my PhilPapers profile.
