Through the AAEA Teaching Academy, I received hands-on training in Universal Course Design (UCD) and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). The evidence-based pedagogy experience also introduced helpful reflective questions at the end of each lecture—such as What question remains unanswered? What could I improve? What did I do well?—which I now plan to incorporate into my teaching practice regularly. These insights continue to inform my approach to course design and have been central to my ongoing development as an educator.
