Environmental Microbiology and Eco-Genomics Group 

at the University of Portsmouth, UK. 

We are interested in topics traversing the microbial ecology and eco-genomics of aquatic/marine/benthic ecosystems, wastewater treatment plants, and polluted environments. 

We aim to combine experimental/laboratory work with molecular and genomics/'omics approaches to better understand how microbes interact to control key biogeochemical cycles and contribute to the removal of pollutants from the environment.
