For us, breeding is not about increasing the number of dogs, but about investing in quality and dogs that meet the breed definition. In the text below you will find a few thoughts and principles about our breeding. The link contains information about future litters.
Only carefully selected dogs are used for breeding
All the dogs we use for breeding are always eye-mirrored and x-rayed.
Character is also important, which is taken into account in our breeding.
Only dogs of good character will be used for breeding.
Breeding age of dogs
Bitches under 2 years of age will NOT be used in our breeding.
The age of all bitches used for breeding will always be over 2 years.
We do not use males under 20 months.
The bitch will only have a maximum of 2-3 litters.
Our dogs are family members for us
All our dogs are important family members for us. Even if the dog is not suitable for breeding use, it would not be able to compete with it, would not be suitable for shows or would have had enough litters to retire from breeding use. We do NOT have adult dogs looking for a home.
So if you are looking for an adult dog, then you might want to ask elsewhere.
The size of the dogs
MAS is still a relatively fresh breed where there is still a lot of size variation. The definition of race also allows for a large scale. The allowed height for females is 33cm- 43,5cm and for males 35.5cm- 46cm. However, when it comes to a MINIATURE american shepherd, it should be small and clearly smaller than an Australian Shepherd.
We strive to keep the size of dogs within the limits allowed by the breed definition with our own breeding choices. Efforts are also made to avoid upper limits dogs combinations to keep the size moderate.
Size is one of the most important things in our upbringing, there where health and character are.
Price
We have a same price for all puppies, regardless of gender or color.
We do not have a booking fee policy.
The puppy must be in fully paid before picked up.
No installment option.
We can transport the puppy to the airport if needed, free of charge.
