Trouble with ethics...
Kennedy, grabbing the rail and following it along, began walking above medbay closer to D-Block, wandering seemingly aimlessly after losing her trail of guards she stumbled across an old friend who seemed a bit different. "Bumbalina!" She shouted excitedly, greeting her favorite Ethics Committee assistant, quickening her pace to reach him, but as he turned to the side to face her she noticed what looked so different about him. "Oh hey Kennedy" he said with a noticeable gargle. Her face dropped as she looked at her old friend, who used to be fit, was now well over 300 pounds, "What's wrong?" he said noticing her face lose color. "You...You uhm..." She stuttered, attempting to find the right words, "Your suit is looking a little tight..." She muttered out eventually. "WHAT?!" He shouted, clearly offended by the comment. Just as he continues on a tangent about not judging him for his weight through her apologies, Ethics Committee member Jay 'Rowling' and a few Omega-1 found their way to both of us, "What seems to be the issue?" He said, noticing something was the matter. "SHE CALLED ME FAT!" Bumbalina shouted, furious. "WAIT! That is NOT what happened." Kennedy replied, attempting to speak over him, "I simply said your suit was looking tight. You should recognize that and get one tailored to fit! It was a fashion suggestion!" She said attempting to cover her tracks, not intending to offend anyone. "Well I cannot believe this, calling my assistant fat? This is unbelieveabe- OH! Look." Rowling says, looking over the medbay railing, there the site director could be seen walking over to the crowd. "Site Director, I am sure you will be sorry to hear that your Site Advisor has called my Assistant fat." Rowling said to Nathan, without a wavier of his expression he looked to the assistant and back to rowling and said "He is pretty fat." Kennedy stifled a laugh while Bumbalina looked properly offended and Rowling, coming to terms with the truth, admitted perhaps a diet and exercise plan for him would be best. Kennedy, seeing this as an opportunity to escape the terribly awkward situation, said her goodbyes to the group and wandered into D-Block ending the not so great interaction with her friends.
The Tea Party...
Walking through the halls of Light Containment Zone Kennedy noticed a familiar face, well...familiar mask. "Hello" She said softly, but with a firm tone, "Come with me." Descent said coldly. Recognizing the tone she followed, he lead her to SCP-012 'A Bad Composition' was a complete understatement of the fate you would meet if you chose to look at it, or were forced to. Another Alpha-1 was guarding the door, as she made her way in the person guarding the door stepped out of the way and allowed her and 'Descent' to enter where she was greeted by about 6 other Alpha-1 members, Overseer O5-2, and a singular member of Alpha-1 locked in a cage behind O5-2's chair. The overseer was sat at a small table with tiny chairs and 2 cups of "Tea". "Sit! Please Site Advisor!" O5-2 said excitedly, the warm welcoming didn't stop the chills in her bones, as kind or as welcoming as he could be, the man in the cage kept her on the edge of her seat. "Would you like to have some tea?" He asked kindly, "No thank you, I am not thirsty" She said with a false smile on her face, her head rushing from the memories of her friends telling her not to drink from the water fountains due to the Chairwoman's...Ethical idea...to use the water supply to help people agree with ethics more willingly, she refused to allow anyone to control her choices but herself and wasn't willing to take the risk, not if she could help it. She looked down at her cup and noticed the discoloration from normal tea, "Why is it...This color, and so bright?" She asked. O5-2 answered quickly, brushing off the question and then saying "I am sure you are wondering why I called you here...I wanted to ask about what you thought of what we do here at the foundation..." He said waiting for her answer. "You mean like...Our safeguarding of the anomalies?..." She started, "We do it for the greater good. We protect those who cannot protect themselves from these...Creatures. We are the lesser of the two evils." She finished, her words giving her a sense of pride and making her more confident. "Very nice..." He said "You know...The man behind me...pay him no mind." He said noticing her gaze shift to him after her small spill. "Why is he in a cage?" She asked, gaining more confidence than when she first entered the room. "He...Spoke back to me." He said turning to look at him. Suddenly without warning the lights went out, after about 15 seconds they came back on with an urgent alarm "Mass containment failures have happened around the site, Three SCP's are currently breached. MTF Units respond urgently" O5-2's face dropped as the man in the cage proceeded to step out 'I guess it wasn't locked' she thought to herself. He cleared his throat and then said "Well, I guess it is time we get going...I suggest you do the same" as he began walking out of the room with the members of Alpha-1. She stayed seated a bit longer, staring at the cage and the suspicious looking 'Tea' before getting up and picking up her radio "Advanced armory is authorized to all MTF." she said, pushing herself up from the table and turning off her radio.
