Did you know that our local Dakotamart donates money to charitable groups when you shop there? Bring your Dakotamart receipts into Kennedy Elementary, and we get $100 for every $10,000 that is spent there. It adds up quickly, trust us. Just bring them in, and we'll do the rest. It makes a few extra hundred dollars for the school each year, and could be a lot more! Thanks Dakotamart!

Collect box-tops from your favorite brand-name items, and ask your child to drop them off at the Kennedy office. These little boxtops make a big difference in what we do, and add up very quickly! If you clip them out nicely, that will save our PTO a lot of time with the scissors.

Amazon smiles is a rewards program for charitable organizations giving back .5% on eligible purchases through smile.amazon.com. While, this is a great program for supporting charitable organizations, we advocate for shopping locally first. Cut out the bread barcodes from participating Country Hearth brands and bring them into the school, just like box tops. Each bar code gets us $.05 for the school, up to $10,000 each year. That's a lot of barcodes!

Free books are such a fun thing for Kennedy children to get on their birthday month. These books come from all over. Many come from the book fair dollars raised, but most are donated by caring people who want them used for many years to come. Bring your lightly used books to the Kennedy office, and we will put them on the book cart for others to enjoy.

Of course, as a verified 501(c)(3) charity, we are able to accept charitable gifts. And you are able to accept a charitable deduction in conjunction with that gift. Checks, cash, stock, land, crops, vehicles, coins/collectibles, insurance policies, other appreciated assets may be given to support the Kennedy PTO and Kennedy Elementary school.
