Ken's Publisher & Author

I met Ken at a Marine Corps themed bar called Semper Fi (now called Rally Point Grille), I started going there after my ex-husband tried to shoot me in my own home and was incarcerated. Semper Fi has its own little charm, and going there made me feel safe because I was surrounded by the brave, honorable men and women who serve our country.

While I am one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet in your life, my looks come off as a bit intimidating because I wear clothes that compliment my tattooed and strong physique. Ken is the first person to ever bullshit with me at that bar in the year after the shooting. My first thought was, “This little guy has got some serious balls!” We both traded the synopsis of our life stories over some bourbon, and we’ve been friends ever since. I asked him if he was interested in writing a book about his life, he said yes and that he had already started that process with his friend Nikki who helped write about his early life. The rest is history.
