The General Election is November 4, 2025
Montgomery County sample ballots (pick your municipality from the drop down list to see your specific ballot)
Note: A "Sample Ballot" is the exact same ballot you will see when you vote by mail, vote by absentee, or vote in-person.
Use the "Sample Ballot" to determine who is running and so that you are not surprised when you get to the polling place. The sample ballot is also posted at the polling place. The word "sample" in "Sample Ballot" may throw off some people. It does not mean that made-up names are listed on the ballot or that this is an example of what you may (or may not) find at the polling location. It shows you the actual people's names who are running for office in this election, but you will not be able to use it to cast a vote because it says "Sample" on it. There are also other security features on the sample ballot that would prevent you from using it to cast a real vote, not to mention the security processes in place at the polling location.
NOTE: There are sometimes two sides on the ballots. And remember that even though the ink of your pen or marker may bleed through to the other side, the scanning machine is smart enough to know your actual selections. One reason the scanner can do this (but not the only reason), is that your marks on the front don't line up with the ballot circles on the back.
Below are sample ballots for a representative voting precinct. For the Primary, there are Democratic Party Ballots and Republican Party Ballots.
