I wanted to give a note of thanks to all the people who supported me and the North Penn Neighbors for Progress. Also thank you to all the voters who voted for us. One of the things we never ask on a ballot is "Why did you vote the way you did?" The answer to this question will be different for everyone, and our assumptions usually do not match the actual reason. Some people voted for us because they didn't like the opposition's views or platforms. Other voters didn't vote for us because they didn't like the actions of the administration in Washington D.C. Some of the people actually wanted what we represent - free, fair, equitable education for all residents of North Penn, and voted enthusiastically. The point is that we will never know the reason why someone voted the way they did. That means we need to continue to listen to the people, try to understand their needs, and act in the best interest of the students, families, and tax payers. Thank you again for electing us to the North Penn School Board!
