Hello! I'm Kendra Staley, a Teacher-Educator, Developer of Material & Curricula, and English Language, Literature & Composition Teacher.

I'm currently a PhD student in Education at George Mason University with specializations in Multilingual/Multicultural Education, Teaching/Teacher Education, Critical Studies, and Anti-Racist/Decolonizing Research. I've previously taught ESL/EFL, English literature and composition in the USA (Washington, Kansas, Colorado, and Virginia) as well as conducted teacher professional development internationally (China, Indonesia, Colombia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Russia, virtually). I began teaching English because of my interest in cross-cultural understanding and have now been working in the education field since 2005. My teaching and research interests include social justice within language teaching, intercultural communications, curriculum development, teacher training and online education.
