About Me!

Hey Pals! I'm Kendra and I like dogs! My career with dogs began in 2013, where I got a job at a corporate pet store. At the time I was in school for nursing, and quickly learned that I was better suited for touching dog poop instead of human poop! I began working as a bather and over the past decade, worked my way through the ranks the corporate grooming world had to offer. From bather to grooming trainee, certified pet stylist, grooming salon manager and trainer to teach other dog lovers the joys of dog grooming. 

Fast forward to 2023, I jumped into the private grooming world to continue learning and growing. I entered my first grooming competition and placed 1st with my own dog Lola. Shortly after that, Kendra Grooms Puppers was born! I am currently certifying with Canadian Professional Pet Stylist on the road to become a Certified Master Groomer. I have a passion for continued education and knowledge through expos, seminars and private lessons, focusing on skin and coat health, dog psychology and behavior, mindfulness and energy, and keeping up to date on current tools and technology in the industry. I am excited to make your pups look and feel their very best!
