According to the October 11, 1998 edition of the Baltimore Sun : On October 4, 1998 the body of Kendall Hawks, 18, of the 4300 block of Woodlea Avenue in Northeast Baltimore was found in a wooded area off the 4700 block of Windsor Mill Road near Leakin Park. Mr. Hawks was a victim of a shooting.
The Baltimore Sun offers no additional information about what happened to Mr. Hawks and who was involed with his murder, why he might have been there, who he was, whether he had any friends, whether he had attended a school. A search of the Maryland Judiciary Case Search from Mr. Hawks turned up nothing.

Other than taking down Mr. Hawks name, address and age I certainly wonder if the Baltimore City Police Department lifted a finger to find out anything more. I doubt it.
