Just come back from a run?
You can enter any distance as many times as you would like. Only your best result for each distance will be counted in the Virtual Results.
Only 1 race entry out of all distances entered will count towards the random shoe voucher draw.
The race time entry must be submitted between the Start and End Date of the advertised Virtual Event.
Shoe voucher is randomly drawn from all valid Kembla Joggers 2020 Member entries. Guest entries are not counted in the shoe draw or prizes.
Race times & placings do not affect the shoe voucher draw.
We trust that everyone will do their best to submit a legitimate time. Kembla Joggers reserves the right to remove entries that do not adhere to the Club Rules, including the Age Maximums below, or deemed impossible.
Kembla Joggers reserves the right to change the Virtual Events Schedule
Virtual Event Race Results will not be stored with the Kembla Joggers Race Results archive and will not count towards any Winter, Summer or Track Pointscores or Participation Awards.
The race can be run anywhere. You can pick a tough or easy course, it’s up to you. Note that no club, national or world records will be recognised.
For those that do not have GPS watch and are not sure how to confirm exact distance, the 1km, 2km, 3km and 4km courses at the West Dapto course are easy to follow from the maps on the website and the mowed areas. Please note that the gates to the back course may not be open so you may need to repeat the 1km and 2km loops on the front course to run your nominated distance.
When participating in the virtual race, please ensure you adhere to all Government guidelines on exercising, congregating, social distancing as part of managing the COVID-19 issue. For more info go to nsw.gov.au
We have not worked out yet how to give out the lollies at the end of the race or post race refreshments but are working on it, we will need your help on this!
Remember our aim is always fun, fitness, participation and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Please enjoy your virtual race with that in mind and let us know any ideas you have for future virtual races.
