PATENT DRAWINGS

You may get the impression from this website that I'm obsessed with trains. Guilty as charged. One of the areas I like is the research that goes into building models, digital or analog. I find the history of railroading fascinating. One source for information is the US Patent Office. The drawings found here reveal the successes and failures that led to our modern railway systems. I've collected the most interesting (to me, anyway) drawings i find there. Some I use to build models from, most I just peruse to study the heritage of inventiveness of those before us. In many ways this is the "steampunk" section of Milepost 15.
