Kelsey M Conrick (she/her), PhD, MPH is a post doctoral scholar with the Firearm Injury & Policy Research Program at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on preventing firearm-related harm through community-based and policy-level interventions, with an emphasis on addressing structural racism and reducing disparities in access to safety. She examines how behavioral health providers, including social workers, can support firearm injury prevention through clinical and policy tools such as Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs). Her work also includes developing and evaluating provider-facing interventions to strengthen conversations about firearm access and storage in behavioral health settings.

Dr. Conrick's dissertation created resources and knowledge to equip social workers in direct and community practice settings to prevent firearm-related harm, focusing on understanding how their involvement in prevention efforts may reduce inequities in client care.

Dr. Conrick is also actively involved in the Society for the Advancement in Injury and Violence Research, serving as the 2023-2025 Co-Chair of the Student and Early Career Professionals Committee and the Student Representative on the 2021-2022 Board of Directors.
